Who are we?
Stemming from Harvard and MIT and backed by education and psychological theory, Roots is dedicated to helping second and third-generation Chinese-American children relearn Chinese, both traditional and simplified Mandarin.
We envision a world where every Chinese-American child can grow alongside their Chinese identity.
As second-generation children ourselves, we understand both the comfort and identity our heritage brings us and the importance of maintaining the language at a young age.
